Working in the library for a month now, and I truly love it. One thing that has become more apparent to me is how important our community resources are. It's the only place many people can copy or print important documents, get social services, take their kids for fun...& books of course #ALA #IMLS

Woefully behind on here. I started working in circulation as a library assistant at my local library. First step towards becoming a medical librarian is underway! 😉

I keep forgetting I have this. I'm trying to be better about my presence on here for when I pull the plug on Facebook, which I haven't had the damn time to do yet (photos and such).

Ok, I've decided to continue my path in library science (one of the few things I can see my neurodivergent ass doing well for the longterm).

Literacy and book access is more important than ever now.

This is going to be an uphill battle....

Just need to settle on the best undergrad now 😴

I really need to find a career that utilizes medical/biological sciences but limits my audhd triggers with people. The amount of anti-vaxxers I see these days or people spreading diet conspiracy dogma (amongst other issues beyond the medical realm) gives me the largest of fucking migraines.
