New Guinea Amau frog. Was once the world's smallest known vertebrate and is the smallest species of frog. A grand total of 7.7mm long. They do not go through a tadpole stage. Males call for mates with very high pitched peeps

Glass frog. Native to mostly Central and South American tropical rainforests. Have forward facing eyes, unlike most tree frogs. Known for their translucent skin, which is effective camouflage. There are approximately 160 known species of glass frog.

Purple frog. Also known as Indian Purple Frog or Pignose Frog. Native to India. Spend most of their lives underground, feeding on ants and termites. Emerge for about two weeks during monsoon season to breed.

White's Tree Frog. Native to Australia, New Guinea, and surrounding islands. Very common in America as pets, though. Very docile creatures. Nowhere close to endangered.

Darwin's frog. Father of the Year, Frog Life Magazine, 1834. After the female lays eggs, he guards them until they hatch. After they hatch, the male Darwin's frog scoops the tadpoles up into his vocal sac, where they develop until fully formed.
