Those of us fortunate enough to have at least a Head Start-level of education understand why federal employees are resigning. What we don't understand is why those who haven't didn't. Maybe they didn't get to go to Headstart, like today's children can't.

As a Pittsburgh Steelers fan for 58 years, I certainly hope that the team continues to win more games each year than it loses, as it has for the last 19 years. But, if next year, we go 8 - 9, I will ask those fans who this year wished for Coach Tomlin to leave, "How Do Yu Like Him Now?"

Every now and then, less now than 15 years ago, I look myself in the mirror and say that I'm proud to be an American. Today was one of those too few days. Fly Butterflies; let freedom ring and justice reign.

Democrats have some questions about DHS buying private jets to be used by Kristi Noem
The homeland security secretary was already a controversial figure. Then her agency bought two private jets for her and other DHS officials.

I thought "The Hill" publication was akin to my personal favorite, "The Atlantic." I wrong; very wrong. I read this article and accompanying comments and posted my comment, Disliked by 6; Liked 0! The 47% really love trump!

Thank you, and congratulations to Rachel Maddow for the superb work as executive producer of "Andrew Young: The Dirty Work." For someone who lived through that era, watching it was an emotional journey down memory lane; for those of us living today, a reminder of how far we have retrogressed.

Since the Republican congresspersons are refusing to work, let's not pay them, and pay our troops instead!

I thought, until I found out what is in the indictment on John Bolton, and that real assistant US attorneys signed and presented it, that he was a victim, like Jim Comey and Tish James. Since he and trump did similar wrongs, they can be housed in the same cell. I wouldn't mind if Maxwell was added.

Publicly announcing that we sent CIA agents into Venezuela to fight drug importation was a pretty dumb thing to do. But, using funds to do so, instead of using it for education and treatment of abuses in drug usages is even dumber.

My analysis of my first case in criminal law, that a homeowner could lawfully set a boobytrap for potential intruders, was wrong, because there's no probable cause. So, our military blowing up a boat on international waters with no proof of its threat to the US is wrong. No probable cause!

Still having the remnants of the 1965 Voting Rights Act didn't help those 2000 minorities to vote last November so, it being totally trashed by the Supreme Court won't motivate them either. They will continue to do just fine, avoiding civic duty and personal responsibilities, Act or no Act.

After making a career of distancing himself from Black people, why is Sen Mitch McConnell now desperately holding on to one of us? Since it can't belove, it must be desperation. Could trump be next?

trump got Argentina 50 billion $ his first term, and the pesos' value to the dollar hit $25; now, he's giving to him 20 billion $ more, and the pesos' value will be $1600 to a dollar. But, trump's buddies who do business will get paid and so will he. And us taxpayers, as Ray sings, will lose again.

Early reports reflect that it's Red states that will suffer the most from the federal subsidies for Obama Care coverage being canceled by trump. People will surely, needlessly die, as with the Pandemic. It's poetic justice that they will be those who put him back in office after his Covid actions.

Are Black folks allowed to sail on Viking ships? From seeing their commercials, I think not.
October 16, 2025 at 4:34 AM
Republicans argued before SCOTUS today that the Founding Fathers were colorblind, when the original Constitution counted us Black folks as 3/5ths of a White person. And still we rose. Either we learn from history, or we're doomed to repeat it. Right now, it's the latter.

Netanyahu has reduced the amount of aid being sent to Gaza until he receives more Israeli dead bodies, thereby causing for more dead bodies to occur. Make sense? May he burn in Hell.
October 15, 2025 at 5:17 AM
How would we have felt, if Bebe Netanyahu had asked President Biden to pardon trump? The same way that we felt when Romney did!
October 15, 2025 at 5:01 AM
Maybe Van Jones is Jewish? Sammy Davis, Jr was. That might explain his blind eye and callous remark on the plight of 66,000 women and children who are victims of Israeli ethnic cleansing in Gaza, a land that isn't even there's.
October 6, 2025 at 4:16 AM
If Van Jones has nothing worthwhile to say, he should have kept his mouth shut. He's got children. Would he want them living in a situation like those babies in Gaza? It's better to be quiet, and thought a fool than to speak and remove all doubt.

I wouldn't vote for James Comey for dog catcher but stay with me now. He was indicted for testifying under oath to Congress that he authorized a person to release documents to the media but, the person to whom he did so is DIFFERENT from the one that was named! I am opposed to that vindictive act.

An I.C.E. agent violently throws a defenseless woman to the floor in front of her young daughter. Does that make you feel more safe, or more proud to be an American?

Like in sports, an unforced error in politics can cause a lost. The trump Justice Department (formerly known as the US Justice Department) has subpoenaed Fulton County DA Fani Willis' travel records. With the midterms and a Senate race coming up next year, this action will fire up the Black voters.
September 27, 2025 at 4:10 AM
With the Democrats in Congress making progress in exposing the other despicable persons involve in Epstein's sexual assaults of youths, it's no wonder that trump is hoping that the government will shut down next Tuesday before we learn the truth; the whole truth, and nothing but the truth.
September 27, 2025 at 3:30 AM
Commentators are questioning why trump to moving so fast to try to become a despot. Maybe his doctor knows something that we don't? But what we do know is that, if we take over the House next year, a whole lot of this stuff will cease and desist. He will be too busy defending several impeachments!
