Someone I follow on insta has a kid going to camp and I was thinking about how I only got to go to camp once. It was terrible. I wish I could have gotten to go every summer but it was SUPER exclusive and super expensive to go to the camps here. Famous people went to them. They’re a big deal here.

Just found out about Wonderwell the movie. I’m so happy to see Carrie in one more film. Seeing her beautiful face again. Just. A gift. 🥹✨

People mumble or don’t speak clearly in shows, the volume can be loud in one part and soft in another part, and it also helps me focus on what’s going on. Those are some of my reasons for having subtitles.
My guess is that having subtitles on helps engage people who’ve grown up in a multi-screen world and serves to focus their attention on one screen.
