I always find that I eat some of the most fun things while I travel. I did get to go to more popup collab cafes this time around & once I'm home I'm working on putting together a couple of guides on how to make reservations etc.

My last few days here in Tokyo seem to be a split between last minute fun things with friends and days of chill downtime where I generally want to wander around different areas exploring.

I've figured out a lot of processes this trip to Tokyo and last. Wondering if ppl would like a blog post or something on how to do things like make reservations for collab cafes, going for merch releases and entering in the lottery draws for clothing brand shopping for the big sales and such.

Finally got a chance to head to #明治神宮 #Meijijingu to give back my old #omamori #お守り & pick up a new one.
It's the first time in a long time I've been able to do so properly. Here's hoping for a repeat next year.

Sorry for lack of posts. I should be all excited for my trip but my gran passed just before her 93rd bday. Everything is chaos as everyone is flying here for the funeral (she wanted to be buried here with my おじいさん)
She's been very frail for a while so it wasn't a complete surprise. Still sad though

After all the headache with temporarily losing my Meta accounts, decided I'm just going to download all of it as of now so if I lose it again, I at least have all the images, data etc from 2005 to today. Feels less scary losing only a few months worth vs 20 years worth.

Work & life in general have been so busy I haven't had time to work on my Japan trip (4 weeks!) But at least I'm getting to see ppl I haven't seen in eons.
One is up in Canada for work for 3 days & we're going to grab the ferry to see another friend I haven't seen since summer.

Had a very busy weekend. Had to emergency upgrade a friend's PC on a budget so ended up moving my upgrade plans from next year to now.
Dropped my 5600X CPU + ASUS mobo, 32Gb AM4 RAM, + PSU into her kit then realized her AIO was dead. Ran out to get a new one cause mine didnt fit her case

We celebrated my grans 100th today at her seniors home (we will do the private family to do on her actual bday on the 12th). She got her official letters from the governor General & King Charles.
Happy 100th!
A lot of the residents and my grans friends enjoyed the cake & company.

Well. I forgot I had another Insta account unlinked to the old one. At least I can tell the ppl i only had there how to reach me. At least ask this time away from Meta has allowed me to focus on unpacking

hm tomorrow the Dec dates become available for the MDZS cafe in Ikebukuro. Now to decide if I want to go and when. Currently it's modern highschool art items for the shop. Apparently Gerous will be doing different art for the 1 yr cafe anniversary though.
