We celebrated my grans 100th today at her seniors home (we will do the private family to do on her actual bday on the 12th). She got her official letters from the governor General & King Charles.

Well. I forgot I had another Insta account unlinked to the old one. At least I can tell the ppl i only had there how to reach me. At least ask this time away from Meta has allowed me to focus on unpacking

hm tomorrow the Dec dates become available for the MDZS cafe in Ikebukuro. Now to decide if I want to go and when. Currently it's modern highschool art items for the shop. Apparently Gerous will be doing different art for the 1 yr cafe anniversary though.

Now that I moved closer to my stepdad and mom I get invited out to dinner...a lot. Tonight is hot pot at Dolar Shop in Richmond. They have fancy water and popcorn in the waiting lounge.

OMG finally figured out why some progs were spiking audio from Chrome - first noticed it w/ OBS, then with games like Minecraft.
Turns out Armory Crate Profiles were causing this and just turned those off. Now I can run OBS with BG music without issues.

US Friends, I had thought about rejoining the US LARP scene this year since I started the new job & have more funds but given how chaotic & in flux the situation is down there, sadly I will likely not be heading down there for the near future.

Tried to file taxes early only to find out I can't 'cause I have a tiny amnt of capital gains & any return with any amount can't be done likely until late March 'cause of cap gain tax changes for large amnts. Oh well.
On the upside, the $ I set aside is way overkill so most of a Japan got!

Have started new job (while still performing duties of old job). I'll be in the office more for the immediate future as I have a lot to learn but I'll still luckily have work from home days.
At home 2 days, in office 3 days. Luckily my counterpart also likes to come in a bit later in the morning

Took my friend to Meiji Jingu the other day. The park around it always gives me calm vibes compared to the bustle of the rest of the city. My friend got their first Goshun book, stamp and calligraphy and plans to return with her daughter to get more from other shrines - so cute!
