I looked up my parents house and my sisters house on Google maps and put a Christmas tree in the yard. 🎄

I switched back to @11ty.dev, it seems to offer more flexibility when generating pages than Astro (this could just be my lack of experience with Astro).
I did learn about Pagefind, and really liked the Astro page layout, so I'm incorporating those aspects into my Eleventy powered FilePond docs.

I switched back to @11ty.dev, it seems to offer more flexibility when generating pages than Astro (this could just be my lack of experience with Astro).
I did learn about Pagefind, and really liked the Astro page layout, so I'm incorporating those aspects into my Eleventy powered FilePond docs.

After 3 years of development I finally published the first alpha version of FilePond v5!
is now a full blown custom element, it implements ElementInternals, can be styled with CSS Custom Properties, and can be fully customised with templates and extensions! 🎉

modern CSS is so powerful, with everything going on it's incredibly impressive that browsers can parse and compute the end result as fast as they do.

Switched to using CSS system colors for the FilePond v5 default styles, this makes it better fit in with the other form controls.

Google traffic to all my "How do I do this basic thing and what are the caveats" articles dropped by a factor 10 in the past year.
The reason is quite obvious.
I could invest more time to write more advanced articles, but how long until those get sucked up as well?
