Bruh, the authorization/referral back & forth I have with health insurance companies, the limited number of contracted providers, the lack of communication, & obfuscation gives me a migraine whenever I'm forced to engage in it.

Got a reply from an Attending MD, saying that they don't care if a patient doesn't feel accepted or if a patient isn't following their low potassium diet. They care about unnecessary hospitalizations.

One of the most harrowing things I've experienced as a fresh nurse from school is talking to MDs.
Sure, you can get all the practice communicating from nursing school, but nothing really prepares you for another person's people skills.
