Burnout is clinically understood as a combo of 6 factors—work overload, lack of control, insufficient rewards, breakdown in community, absence of fairness, & value conflicts—and only a fraction of it is under your control. Burnout is a systemic problem, so be kind to yourself and hard on the system.
Hey gang I've had to learn recently that the whole "burning out" thing is real so if you find yourself being panicked every waking second that you're not working on something, despite those seconds being very rare, you should maybe listen to the signals and take an intentional break before you crash

What on earth could be a viable reason for a neighbour to drag furniture around continuously??? Yeah getting up from a kitchen chair here and there, or opening your sofa bed, but several times, every day and night?? Is the Feng Shui that off every hour 😂😂

my studies have indeed given me valuable info and forced me to get comfortable with foreign tools, but the significant advantage has been the allotted time and freedom to experiment. I haven't really practiced anything specific in my personal hobby fields, but still I've gotten better in them????

I am this 👌 close to starting work on my new comic again, but it will be a 10000h project and a slow grind, and I've already failed to start once. I'm trying to integrate blender into the workflow to hopefully save me from carpal tunnel and burnout again...

When rigging for a game engine, use the "envelope" display method to better visualize the collider radius. Soooo much nicer than having to guess or re-import an FBX.....especially for the exact science of chesticle collision 🤓
