These inspiring NY State high school students, Gabriella, Allison, Maddie & Kayla, turned learning into action!

They hosted a bake sale that raised $500 for Afghan girls’ education, supporting Darakht-e Danesh Classroom, our online high school. Thank you for standing up for the right to learn!

Imagine if every girl in a Canadian classroom disappeared in a single day.

That’s what happened in Afghanistan on Sep 12, 2021, when girls in Grades 7–12 were banned from school.

But Afghan girls keep studying however they can.
