once you offload a type of cognitive/creative work to the junk food high you get from AI, the process is reduced to a mere means to an end, instead of something you evaluate or create yourself, with intent, skill, and vision
“The AI in the study probably prompted doctors to become over-reliant on its recommendations, ‘leading to clinicians becoming less motivated, less focused, and less responsible when making cognitive decisions without AI assistance,’ the scientists said in the paper.”

Artificial intelligence, touted for its potential to transform medicine, led to some doctors losing skills after just a few months in a new study.

After only getting ill after my Dad recovered, I wonder if the body has some way to delay symptoms so a group of people always has someone able bodied. I'm betting on coincidence but nature has all sorts of wacky stuff going on.

Someone has a project where they're adding undo to the linux terminal, yet I've started to find that the undo button is for the most part a curse when doing art. Most of the time it's better to just modify what is already on the page, so part of me wonders what a "Vim-like" terminal would feel like.
