How many takes on "evil santa" or Krampus have people made as D&D monsters?

We should have some more creativity with our festive foes. Lump of coal fire elementals, sugar plum faeries, nut cracker constructs, Christmas Tree Dryad (has fire attacks because of candles).

Feel free to use any of these

Elon Musk is apparently considering buying Hasbro (thus giving him ownership of D&D)

I dont think he understands how liberal the D&D community is and just how long of a tradition we have of playing old versions of the game because we don't like the new ownership.

Fun D&D monsters you might not have used.

Brigganock: These little fey dig through the ground in the feywild looking for "wish stones" which are made from the dreams and wishes of mortals. Their souls exist outside of their bodies as a floating light that follows behind them.

Fun D&D monsters you might not have used before.

Moonstone Dragon: Dragons raised in the Feywild and changed by it. They are curious and playful keeping pixies for company. They enjoy having eccentric and absurd artwork in their treasures hoards. They use a "dream breath" that makes creatures sleep

It's awesome that Dungeons and Dragons is so popular now and there are so many high quality resources available for DMs and players. The game is probably in a better place now than it ever has been.

With that said, the old, janky, low budget art had immaculate vibes and I ultimately prefer it

Fun D&D monsters you might not have used before.

Xorn: Creatures with the ability to swim through the ground as if it is water. They eat metals and precious gems and can sense from a distance. They are peaceful unless they are hungry and you happen to have valuables on you.

Fun D&D monsters you may not have used in a campaign.

Flail Snail: This snail uses its flail like eye stalks to defend itself. The shell of this snail has magic resistant properties and can emit a blinding light. If all of the snail's eye stalks are cut off, it screams for several minutes and dies

I've never met anyone who played D&D for the first time and didn't enjoy it.

Fun D&D monsters you might not have used in a campaign.

Vargouille: Monstrous heads with wings. They suck blood and reproduce by spreading their disease with a kiss. If the disease is allowed to progress the victims head will sprout wings and fly off of their body within a few hours.

Fun D&D Monsters you may not have used in a campaign.

Campestri: Mushroom guys related to myconids but much smaller. They are carefree and love to dance along to music no matter how terrible it is. They have no limbs so they just hop around by expanding and contracting their "root balls".

Fun D&D monsters you may not have used in a campaign.

Kuo Toa: Fish men who have latent psychic powers caused by being enslaved by illithids. They aren't able to use these powers on purpose, so instead, they use them accidentally by giving god-like powers to beings whom they believe to be gods.
