If you’re a game developer and want to cut needless CO₂ emissions:
cap your framerate to 30 FPS while the game is paused or in menus.
Many players leave games idling for hours, and some menus still render at full GPU load.

So Google calendar doesn't have a built-in tool to simply import a ics file but I was able to use gemeni. Still took 20 minutes which should have been one minute.

My thesis for lostness vs fun in #gamedev. Silksong and Animal Well spend most of their time in "where tf am I (good)", but it's a very risky game. Rain World was great, but it did nudge me into "where tf am I (bad)" a little too often for my taste.
