Judge Sara Ellis is ruling from the bench, calling out Bovino and others for lying to cover up their unnecessary force against peaceful protesters. Yesterday Judge Gettleman ruled that the government was committing abuses inside Broadview. Today Ellis rules they also commit abuses outside.

Border Control supervisor Kristopher Hewson: Has seen no unjustified use of force by agents. His team did nothing differently after Judge Ellis issued a TRO, because they already were operating appropriately.

Quick post from Chicago federal courthouse, where they just played a piece from Border Patrol Chief Bovino's deposition. Asked if he thought agent's conduct had been 'exemplary,' he said 'no.' How would he characterize what is going on in Chicago? "More than exemplary."

Border Patrol grabbed workers from the front yard of a home in Edison Park this afternoon then took them behind an office building in Niles and passed them off to a prisoner van. Woman came out to MF them and said "you're in the most conservative neighborhood in the city and nobody wants you here."
