Agreed. LTT discovered it two years ago but did not really do much to speak out or educate anyone else about it. They really should have made a video taking accountability for promoting it so heavily. I imagine it is too cost prohibitive to go back and remove their adds from the 100+ videos!
Just posted about this myself. It's a terrible scam that should have been discovered long ago.

Everyone needs to uninstall Honey and stop using PayPal. This is some of the most crooked stuff I’ve seen. Where are the fraud charges for the PayPal execs?!?
