Indie earworms, a thread. What makes a song get stuck in my head? There’s no one style, beat, or rhythm that does it. Sometimes it’s just a few notes, often it is the chorus, and of course it helps if you listen on repeat, like I did to this song by indie rockers Momma, called Bang Bang.

I saw Charly Bliss kick off their return to playing last night. New album coming soon. This band is so high energy live. I can’t get enough. New York audiences at indie rock concerts are the best. Also the concert was on a boat sailing past the Statue of Liberty. Super fun night.
