In other news, I saw Book of Mormon on NYE. I wanted to correct a gap in my experience of the musical theatre canon, and a friend has a tradition of seeing it at this time of year. I enjoyed it: big cast, fun lyrics, energetic production. 4.5/5

It’s taken me a little longer than usual to warm to this Taskmaster series (S20). But I’m there now! Maisie’s particularly fun and Phil is particularly handsome.

I’ve just devoured an almond cinnamon bun from Arket and it’s definitely among the best things I’ve put in my mouth this year. Late entry!
