I found this quite cathartic … helped me understand what I am missing about the game. It’s not to say I won’t be watching this year but I am gradually falling (or have fallen) out of love with the #premierleague

Just feels that this Premier League season has been the worst for a long time in terms of quality and excitement. And not just for West Ham. Perhaps Sky, the Premier League and clubs haven’t realised they are killing the game.

Real shame to hear @torstenbell.bsky.social succumb to the party line on benefit cuts. Of course we should support people into work, partic young ones. But evidence highlights education + support is the way and not making people destitute and further away from the labour market.

Wow City were so poor - felt a bit sour grapes with Pep doing his 6 (especially as Liverpool will always respond with CL wins!). The Liverpool fans really got to him. There are some City players - like Bernardo in partic - who to coin a phrase, need to ‘stay humble’
