No. 1: Ghost in the Shell
Watched Iron Lung, a little long but good movie. We really don't get bonkers high concept stories like this in larger films so glad it is doing well.

Things I am still waiting for a physical release of that I am more than willing to buy:

. Castlevania Nocturne S1 & S2
. Predator: Killer of Killers
. Nimona
. Extraction 1 & 2
. Glass Onion
. One More Shot

Physical isnt dying, steaming services are just trying to monopolise culture.

Watched Fallout Season 2, still good.

Something I have noticed happening more with videogame publishers, they are hiring smaller teams that are famous for making successful indie games to just make new games in their franchise because big AAA development teams are now so large they are incapable of just making and releasing a game.

Attempt 2 of finding a Discord replacement. Today: Teamspeak. Layout is different, some things feel funky to get used to but the functionality is there. The catch being that if you are not sending messages, having voicecall and screensharing inside a server, there is a delay.

Discord is in the process of imploding less than a year after it went public and appointed a former Vice Chairman at Activision Blizzard as their CEO (What a surprise). So currently looking into Steam's Voice Chat/Group Chat/Screensharing functionality.

Begging Toho to let someone destribute all the Heisei Godzilla movies in a single blu-ray collection complete with all the Noriyoshi Ohrai poster art as the box set covers.

Think I just figured out why Halo 3 feels better than all the others to play. All the guns have slow bullet travel and are simuated projectiles.

Haikyuu is finaly getting decent blu-ray releases, more people should watch Haikyuu, its great.
February 6, 2026 at 11:20 PM
Watched Send Help. Or as I now know it. High masking autistic lady gets to live our her hyperfixation of surviving on a deserted island. Pretty good.

Watched Gamera The Brave. Very sweet, probably would have loved this as a little kid. How has this franchised layed dormant for 20 years?
January 28, 2026 at 11:26 PM
Dear gamedevs, If you release your game and it says this on the steam page, I am not playing it.

Watched 28 Years Later: The Bone Temple, on par with the last one, great film. Wonderful contemplation on empathy towards the mentaly ill and how faith can corrupt.
January 23, 2026 at 5:56 PM
Watched Gamera: Super Monster. Embarrasing movie, nothing but reused footage from all the other movies and random anime clips, it looks and sounds worse than all the other movies, could not even finish it.
January 18, 2026 at 2:56 PM
Watched Gamera vs Zigra, just more of the same, not quite as lame as kids in a random set pushing buttons but nothing special.
January 17, 2026 at 6:54 PM
Watched Gamera vs Jiger, not the worst, not the best.
January 17, 2026 at 5:11 PM
Watched Gamera vs Guiron (1969), the script borrows alot of elements from the last one in which the final act is just two children on a set just pressing buttons at random to help Gamera fight big bad monster, still very weak.
January 17, 2026 at 3:43 PM
Watched Gamera Vs Viras, now this one is ROUGH...even for the 60s this movie feels cheap and rushed. Just very little setup and payoff, alot of following children around a single room set for most of the movie.
January 16, 2026 at 2:36 PM
Watched Gamera vs Gyaos, probably the most fun to watch of the first three films. Also it feels like the producers figured out what rear projection is for this film, its all over the place to varying effect.
January 14, 2026 at 9:22 PM
Watched Gamera vs. Barugon, weaker than the first, Gamera is barely in it and they spend alot of time repeating plotpoints ad nausium.
January 14, 2026 at 7:17 PM
Watched Gamera: The Giant Monster (1965) Clearly a godzilla ripoff but its got some fun stuff. My biggest reaction is just when Gamera flies into an air control tower at mach speed.

Why is the logo for every single Apple TV show/movie white with plain font?

Feel like theirs a wave of people using AI to generate comic strips with the most agreeable message ever to try and sneak through people's feeds unblocked. Let me make this clear, I am blocking your AI BS regardless of what it says.

Watched Avatar: Fire and Ash. I continue to find something in these movies to love but never the whole thing. Also there's a shot in the third act that feels like a direct reference to Evangelion but I have no way to prove it.
January 12, 2026 at 12:56 AM
Watched Relay, interesting concept but doesn't really stick the landing in the third act in my opinion, add this the pile of "Quiet dude becomes fascinated by Lily James" movies, relatable to be honest.
