Watched Sisu: Road to Vengence, very fun, shot like a classic action movie and feels like one too, the ending geniunely made me tear up.

I wish the AI bubble would hurry up and burst already so I can buy a normal new tv again.

40+ years of the Golden Joystick awards and they still havent hired a professional audio engineer, thats crazy.

Watched The Running Man (2025). To start, the characters are memorable, the world feels real and seemless, at no point was i dragged out of the expirience and performances were good. First 20 minutes is a really great setup. However, it feels lacking, a little sterile, cant put my finger on it.

Valve just continues to be the best damn tech copany on the planet, its like its run by actual humans that know what humans want, seriously this shouldn't be as rare as it is.

One Punch Man Season 3 has axctually managed to still make me laugh whether its intentional or not. I have heard the Garou theme played about 20 times to the point where I know exactly when it is coming and chuckle every time it happens on cue.

Watched Predator: Badlands. Pretty good. while I feel it is a little more intentionally palatable for wider audiences, it still does a really good job of being a competently written and well made movie. I just hope the future of Predator is still unique and weird.

Finaly got the platinum for RE1 remake, still one of the best games ever made and amazingly not even my favorite Resident Evil.

I feel I have been saying "I do not want to rent or stream videogames, I would like to buy them, own them and play them on the machine that I own" for about 15 years now and every games platform appart from Steam or GOG has been removing alternative options and trying to force it down my throat.

Pausing the game in Resident Evil Remake doesnt pause the playthrough timer so I cant get the 3 hour run trophy...think I am calling it there on the platinum trophy attempt I am not staring at a screen for 3 hours straight with no breaks.

Watched Chainsaw Man - The Movie: Reze Arc. Very good, the screening I was in at the cinemas got interupted by a bunch of teenagers storming the screening and being kicked out by staff so harmed the expirience a little bit.

Watched Nobody 2, it's like the Die Hard 2 of the franchise, alot of repeating the first with deminishing returns. Still fun but not much new.

Jarhead is finaly getting a modern release in 4K, took long enough that movie is shot so well. Alot more movies that still need saving from that weird 2000 to 2005 era of phisical media where everything is out of print and costs way too much online.

Watched 'Tornado' , pretty good. Very low budget as the movie seemingly has about 4 or 5 locations they shot in that wernt just hills in the highlands but it looks very pretty and the acting is solid. Movie knows when to shut up and let the visuals do the talking.

Watched Ran (1985) good film, kinda baffling how many ridiculously exicuted in-camera shots are in this film. Not sure you could convince anyone to fund a movie like this nowadays.

New YouTube UI update sucks.

Watched 'One Battle After Another' good movie.

Streaming service exclusive movies are so unappealing because all I have to go on is a single image of two actors on a plain background with a title like "Unlucky Day" and my first thought is "is this one of those streaming movies thats just an actors payday tax write off or like a REAL movie?

Completed Hollow Knight: Silksong. Great game, good music and aesthetic, easily the better looking and feeling vs the original game. But, personally, game is a tad too long, it makes the narrative slow to a crawl at times and leads to me getting impatient.

After having had 5 driving lessons and expirience with the follow:
Cyclists, Pedestrians, following the speed limit, seatbelts, indicaiting, keeping my distance from cars in fromt of me.
I can now confidently say everyone who complained about any of this is a dumb big idiot who can't drive.

New Dying Light looks way more in line with the first one. E.g. Emphasis on night time traversal, avioding stronger zombies, darkness actually being dark. Looks fun.
September 18, 2025 at 11:59 PM
Playing Silksong, I am finding the map system even more difficult in this game than Hollow Knight.

Watched Ballerina (2025). Still has the very recognisable 87 eleven spice in the action department but personaly it fails a really important John Wick rule...keep the plot simple. Also every character introduced in this movie is so much less interesting than those from the original series of movies.
