On cold rainy days, on my commute home, I wish I could just get home and stay there. I live in apartment and have a dog. For a split second I wish I didn’t. Then a miracle happens. I look at his face and the happiness that I’m home and take him for a walk and remember how much he means to me. ❤️
It was my birthday on the 18th - I turned 63 and signed myself up for Stand Up Comedy classes! It’s never too late to try something new. To have my husband of 28 years be as excited for me as I am? Best day ever! #comedy #nevertoolate #livingthedream

We play a nightly game of, “What’s Cooking” when our patio door is open. We are also next door to an African restaurant. It is fragrant around here and we love it!
the problem with living in a super diverse neighbourhood is that regularly there are food smells that waft in my windows that make me want to go door to door and say "are you cooking? can I have some? can I have the recipe?"

One of our local dives serves a Mahoney. The cooks choose what you get. Could be breakfast, could be dinner or could be a combo. Today my husband got this. Breakfast poutine surrounded by wraps. It was massive so no dinner being cooked over here. 😂

Fireworks are probably the only thing my dog isn’t afraid of, but it’s not just about MY dog. Fireworks are bad for other pets, wildlife, the environment and fire risk. Laser shows or drones are a cool alternative.

Fireworks are probably the only thing my dog isn’t afraid of, but it’s not just about MY dog. Fireworks are bad for other pets, wildlife, the environment and fire risk. Laser shows or drones are a cool alternative.

I’m going to say it. The USA is weak. Their so called leaders bring chaos to hide from the fact that most of the world knows they’re weak. They are about to find out. Damn, I hope I’m right.
