Saturday could turn dangerous fast across parts of the Carolinas and SE Virginia. Some areas of northeastern NC could see 6-12" of snow with winds of 35-60 mph, creating near-blizzard conditions and whiteout visibility. Travel may become impossible by Saturday afternoon.
