At the start of the year, a group of #RhodesScholars embarked on an immersive hiking and camping trip in Chilean Patagonia. During the trip, the Scholars stepped outside of the academic sphere, learning new skills and ways of encountering a place, as well as building community with each other.

Meredith Ross-James is a #RhodesScholar from New Zealand. She is currently reading for the BPhil in philosophy, where she takes a primary interest in philosophy of conspiracy theories, social epistemology and political extremism studies.
