Well, this will be my pinned post letting everyone know that I'll sporadically post here about my endeavors and projects and happenings!
This is a continuation of my '91 CRX project log that started on Twitter back in 2018, as well as the rest of our stable as it grows and changes. Welcome!

These drum brakes are making me sad. Not because they're drum brakes, but because last time I worked on drums was about 13 years ago, with my grandpa. We changed them on my '91 Accord. I miss him.

Out with the old, in with the new!
I just went with a KYB Strut Plus because the previous struts were KYB kits too. If they were OEM I'd have rebuilt them.
New swaybar end links too. That should resolve the clunks up front!
Also finishing the backup camera and stereo install.

More Binx work!
Out with the old, in with the new!

Parts: arriving!
Got tires mounted and balanced, head unit is ready to install.
Stopped by Pick-N-Pull and got some parts I needed too!

Say hello to Binx, our new daily! He's a 2005 Matrix XR with 235k on the clock. I've ordered a bunch of parts to get him in tip top shape, like a head unit, suspension parts, tires, filters, all that. I know he's good mechanically because I had to drive him 5 hours home from Oregon.

Say hello to Binx, our new daily! He's a 2005 Matrix XR with 235k on the clock. I've ordered a bunch of parts to get him in tip top shape, like a head unit, suspension parts, tires, filters, all that. I know he's good mechanically because I had to drive him 5 hours home from Oregon.
Last night was absolutely fantastic.
Got Snepberry cider at @slightlyfurry.bsky.social. Got to meet Steve Gallacci and thumb through his sketchbooks as he told me all about them. He signed a copy of Albedo Anthropomorphics for me. Then went and saw The Faint at the Showbox!

She's a wee bit bigger than the Beetle was. Time to continue purging the garage so I can make some work space!
First up:
- new battery
- power steering pump rebuild
- high pressure PS hose replacement
- alternator rebuild
That'll get her drivable again. Then onto suspension stuff.

Well, it's something. Tried my hand at the interior of the Beetle and it's just not something I want to deal with. I'm putting in whatever I can without doing upholstery so I can get it listed.

Replaced the bottom bracket on my 20+ year old Giant Iguana. It was finally time after years of jumps and pulling a bike trailer with kids, it got all loose and jiggly (not unlike me).
Next up is to take it on some actual trails and probably upgrade the front fork.

I forgot to say the track day with @projectf.club back in July went well!
The CRX felt the best it ever has with the V730's. My only problem was boiling my caliper's brake fluid in the pits cuz I didn't do enough of a cool down. Oops, time for a rebuild!
