every time i feel like we're making progress there's always something that shows how the book industry and writer community is still deeply entrenched in white supremacy. whiteness is not a minority. white writers, agents, etc still make up the vast majority of tradpub.

my wip's title is...lest she forget. i know it might sound corny bc of how it riffs on the real world phrase "lest we forget" but that connection is intentional. the story is a war story the title is working on all the levels i need it to.

think i've decided on a name for my novel officially. i was resistant to claim it as anything other than a working title bc i know if i pursue traditional publishing it could be changed. but for now i have a title and it's giving me some motivation and appreciation for what the book is atm <3
