Now that Pirro has ruled, can we have an army of brown people carrying rifles and shotguns parade through DC? Maybe assemble on the steps of the Capitol or outside the White House?

Virginia Democratic governor candidate Abby Spanberger getting hit about contributions from a Chinese businessman by Fox and others who neglect to research FEC data to see the same guy has contributed to RNC, NRCC, Trump, Pence and a few Republican congresspersons.

Last week, Trump listed Saquon Barkley as a member of Trump’s sports council. Today, Saquon announced he turned down the offer several months ago.

Wondering what would happen if thousands of Hispanic-looking American citizens started hanging around locations ICE patrols exercising their right to remain silent until after arrest and during processing. Would that gum up the works? I'd volunteer.

Release the Epstein files if only to show the gullible the BIG LIE they bought as pushed/supported by rightwing news, Bondi, Patel, Bongino, Flynn, Loomer, Trump, et al. Maybe other lies and conspiracy theories can end - flat-earth, anti-vaxxers, election fraud, weather manipulation, Bigfoot, etc.

I guess we can replace FEMA with MEMA (Mexican Emergency Management Agency). All jokes aside, kudos to these Mexican volunteers for their service.

Trump says the bombing was done to protect national interest and it's not a "war" per the War Powers Act because there are no troops on the ground. Oh wait, my mistake. That is what Obama said in 2011 after bombing Libya.

Many have rightfully praised our military for its work bombing Iran because our military is very good at fighting battles. But it's not about battles. It's about war and wars are waged by our leaders. And they've sucked at waging war for the last 80 years. Why should this be any different?

Civil disobedience is a conscious act to be "civil" (non-violent) and "disobedient" (breaking laws). If true to the concept, you knowingly break laws and accept the consequences. This makes you a martyr. Breaking laws and then crying about the consequences makes you a criminal.

How can Walmart EAT THE TARIFFS when those tariffs are not even on Walmart's plate? Trump has repeatedly told us that tariffs are a tax on other countries so there is nothing for Walmart to eat. Right? /s

DOGE now telling non-profits receiving federal grants that they are going to send in teams to monitor activities. Please, dear God, I hope DOGE tells Indian Nations the same. I imagine there would be a few less DOGE agents to deal with.

Today, Anne Lamott writes in WaPo about optimism. Many slam her. Maybe optimism is too strong. Today, who can really EXPECT the best? But we can hope for better. Hope provides the incentive and fuel to work toward better. Pessimism provides neither incentive nor fuel. It only promises a slow death.

Are these MFers planning to declare war on Denmark? Taking another nation’s land and people would seem to be war and only Congress can declare war. Oh, I forgot. Putin calls his Ukraine invasion a “special military operation “. I guess Trump will imitate to avoid a need for Congressional approval.

Judges aren't stopping Trump. The law is. The Constitution gives SCOTUS & federal courts judicial power. Since 1803 and by unanimous SCOTUS ruling, that means power to interpret the law. That SCOTUS included a signer of the Declaration and other Founding Fathers. So take that, SCOTUS originalists.

A woman is being raped and begins hitting her rapist. The man hits her back because that is "what anybody else would do".

REALLY? Is that all Trump would say?

Imagine being raped, fighting off your rapist, they are punching you back and bystanders say that if you stop fighting there will be peace.

Trump is off-base about Pete Rose and the HOF. MLB and HOF are separate. HOF set a rule they won't induct if MLB bans. But they keep previously inducted players later banned by MLB. See Roberto Alomar. Rose deserves MLB ban. He doesn't deserve HOF ban.
