Since 2011 I've gotten into the habit of making monthly playlists based on music that really speaks to me at the time.
Whether its a new song that just pops up in the zeitgeist, or a classic that gets new life through a Ad, movie or video game; if I haven't heard it its new to me !

The final song in the album, when #OpenUp came on it was usually at the end of a night of parties, or day of walking around campus going to classes. It has such a finality to it. Reverent and church like, dying guitar, it was a real mood.

A little taste of a Horse With No Name, #WasteMyLife by #LoveArcade really spoke to me, as a person living in the desert. I'd go on long walks in the deserty mountains near campus and this songs reminds me of that so much.
