Is the Nobel Prize committee telling authoritarians and would-be dictators (even for one day!) that they’re one reason the awards are given? The awards are given to the people who resist the authoritarians!

I am a huge fan (and contributor) to NPR. But the reporting in this evening’s All Things Considered was definitely an example of sane-washing.
There was no discussion of the absolute lunacy and dementia that came out in the 40+ minute whining session.
