Apparently our electricity bills are going through the roof and this is partly related to data centers that hog huge amounts of electricity to generate information. I, for one, feel hopping mad about this. The companies that are using the data centers should bear the cost.

I think about this Twilight Zone episode a LOT ("He's Alive" s4 ep4), today even more so. What is absolutely astounding? I just looked it up and it aired EXACTLY 63 years ago today. Rod Serling, as per usual, knew where we were headed, and where we have always been/have had the ability to be.

Alex Pretti "used to tell people off when they made sexist comments to female physicians. He bought me coffee when I had a really bad day as an intern...I laughed alongside him daily. He made a point to teach medical residents without judgement, but with a smile on his face and a joke."
