I really need to get to bed, but I just poked my head out the back door again. This is the view from my deck. All of this is looking south. When the geomagnetic storms are like this, the oval overshoots me and stretches into the US, which is why so many are seeing it tonight. #aurora

“Currently,solar wind conditions are still very elevated w the Bz slightly negative Bt remaining exceptional nearing 50 nT. It's hard to say if this Bz pattern will flip..we may see conditions slightly wane over the coming hrs as we relax from the initial impact o/the storm”

Christians: read Matthew 25:35-40, the one where Jesus says that feeding the hungry is the same as feeding him. Or James 2:15-17, which argues that a faith that does not act to help the needy is dead. Maybe even Romans 12:20 which instructs believers to feed their enemies if they are hungry.

My family has been without half our income for 40 days. It has been.. very hard.
We are willing to feel that pain so people can have health care next year, or to undo these illegal recissions.
We are not willing to have been put through this for NOTHING.
