It seems that the "Cold war" has returned .... I can remember "the old Russian trawlers..... fishing, but not for fish" so now that we have no "fishing fleet" to do the "monitoring" of these" ... we better get some and pronto

Just finished my last rounds 22:07 here , and the temp has dropped to -11°C ... Brought some Firewood in , so we can keep the fire's in overnight , all the animals are tucked up and cosy warm ... Floss is in bed as is most of the Family .. Just & Cel in the Front room ... Nice

A quick update , on the electrical power front : I've found the fault , isolated it and made it safe , alas the new Sony TV is no more and has gone "across the bridge to Valhalla" and the old B&O best part of 27 years has been brought back in to serviced (took the back off , hoovered all the crap

Its the 1/1/26 and outside its clear/sunny with a light breeze , but the temp is bloody cold : -8°C with a wind chill making it feel about -12°C : the fires are now set and the stove is stoving breakfast out , fresh Coffee (Turkish) is being purk'ed and its a Rosti this morning

Its' Cel .... Dean has found one of the faults ... and bye-passed the main fault and cut the power to that bit of the main ring ! and were all sat down having this for lunch .... but the TV is buggered .. 🤦♀️🤦♀️👍👍

Hi Cel here : all animals have been fed and watered : Dean is out at a first aid (alpine) course and a Radio operators course , both of which will take place over the next few weeks ... we have had 6cm of new snow and its -6°C with freezing fog and cloud : the fire/stove is well alight and us

I've put another log on the fire in the front room , we have been snoozing and while awake Cel & Floss are watching the snow falling ... The rest of the family (the girls) are snoozing , so nice and warm , so I made us all a hot choccy drink, and found a walnut cake .... as Floss says "Lecker" and

Floss and meself have arrived back in the kitchen (the new Unimogg has been washed and cleaned) to the smell of Baked apples, stuffed with chopped walnuts & Honey , I placed Floss in her big chair and she shouted "LECKER OPA" as her apple arrived ..... the only clean spot is under her hat 👍😂 👍😂 👍😂
