The FTN is saddened to learn of the death of Phyllis Trible - one of the great pioneers of work in feminist theology. She will be greatly missed, but her indelible influence lives on.

"May she rest in peace and glory."

Super pleased to see my article 'Theology and Masculinity: Developments 25 Years On' published in Feminist Theology today! I respond to Ward's 1999 article on what a theology of masculinity might look like, and show how the field has moved since... doi.org/10.1177/0966... (Need access? Let me know!)

3 years ago, I sat along a riverbank in Somerset reading this as the first book for my PhD work. I’m returning to it today as I start my methodology section, after a supervision this week in which the words ‘viva’, ‘submission’, and ‘examiners’ came up for the plan of the next year…

And that’s #SST2025 kicked off! It was a pleasure to be the respondent for tonight’s plenary paper, focussing on gender, the Eucharist, and trauma theology. Now time to chill out and enjoy the theological conversation… until my Barbie paper on Wednesday!
