Cynic In The Process of Being Tamed

I write, think, pray, and obsess about humanity in the age of AI.
Beliefs about how others should choose to live their lives and uniting against those so called enemies can work to create a cohesive group.

Certainty about how they should behave is easier than discerning how I should choose in a complex world full of gray. But is it faith?

Thank you Monty.
"I spent years telling myself that I could love my Church enough to make up for all the love I would never have," Monty Bennett writes. But "to affirm the goodness of my sexuality, I had to find a new home."

It is quite amazing that we always are fearful- perhaps the AI program would find us uninteresting.
The TV show “Murderbot” offers a twist on the typical AI story: “a future in which an artificial-intelligence program wouldn’t want anything to do with humans at all,” writes Emma Stefansky:
An AI That Couldn’t Care Less About Humans
The quirky show “Murderbot” suggests that intelligent machines might be interested in something other than humanity.

This could make the marriage to other human rates among gen z go down even further.
A disagreement dial would be a really useful thing for AI models. A slider that goes from “I am always right” to “I am always wrong” with intermediate steps.

Any faith or theology that doesn't baffle you at times is not worth your time.

Sorting thru the currents that run through our human nature is the hard part.

What about Sinner? Seriously, responsibility is the key idea. Blaming AI will not be a good look,
The New York Times asked me for a new job that AI will create.

I suggested "sin eater."

(lots of good discussion of many other jobs in the article: www.nytimes.com/2025/06/17/m...)
