A suppressor, other than making it quieter (relatively speaking of course) I don't know that there's a real reason to have it. I'm not sure if it would make it harder to pinpoint a direction of fire or not but it might be worth considering.

People use sniper and sharpshooter interchangeably and they are so vastly different. I'm a halfway decent sharpshooter, I have no clue how to gather Intel just through a 10x scope or measure bullet drop and spin drift due to the Coriolis effect.
