Here is my first blog post in about a year with a small reflection on what I have taken away from my sabbatical. It was a rich and chaotic time, and I feel these lessons in my bones.

As my sabbatical year comes to a close, I am beginning my reflections on the path forward. My initial piece of wisdom to all of you: take breaks. Short ones, long ones. Take breaks with purpose and breathe. Allow small things to inspire you. In those moments, you will find your way back to peace.

It took a lot of self-control not to follow this car when the light turned green so we could be best friends.

So many new people on here! I’m excited to be opening an app that is full of content written by my pocket friends instead of ads and videos. I really hope it lasts!

Finding the space for peace is not easy in a chaotic world. What are you doing to create peaceful moments for yourself?

Currently looking at the sparkling frost outside my office window and sipping hot coffee. It’s a peaceful Friday, and I am grateful. Sending you all the happiness and harmony I can muster to help you through your day.
