After a long, difficult journey home from Inverness during the night, I've had a few hours sleep in my own bed and awoken to the news that we have an amber weather warning for my area. I wish I'd stayed a couple of days longer up north and explored the Highlands and bit more.

What a beautiful night last night here in Inverness. I've visited so many pubs and listened to so much live music. This morning, I'll be popping into the famous Leakeys Bookshop before driving the 190 miles home. It was a spur of the moment decision to pop up here, and I loved every bit of it.

I never share pictures of myself online, I'm the least photogenic person there is, but I'm really pleased with my invisible man outfit that I'll be wearing next weekend. It did take me quite a while to get it right, and I'm really chuffed with the result, as you can see by my huge smile.

I can't believe that I've never watched the Grudge. That's changing tonight. As it's less rhan a week before Halloween, I've decided to spend my Saturday night with the lights off and some scary movies on. I might regret it. 😳

Anyone who knows me knows that I love gadgets and coffee. This interesting machine is a combination of both. It's a coffee roaster for roasting your own coffee beans from their green state to your own taste. I'm a big kid, and I don't care. ☕️
