Sally Field is often remembered for her 1985 Best Actress acceptance speech for "Places in the Heart": "You like me! You really like me!"

She didn't really say that, though. Her actual line was "I can’t deny the fact that you like me. Right now, you like me!"

On May 6, 1950, 18-year-old Elizabeth Taylor married hotel heir Conrad “Nicky” Hilton Jr. The actress was famously married 8 times during her life. Her wedding to Hilton was the only time she wore a white gown, choosing different colors for the others.

I don't remember these spooky vitamins, but would buy just about anything endorsed by Vincent Price during the Halloween season.

What's missing in this autumn scene from a 1950s home movie?

The sound of leaf blowers! We almost forgot how peaceful and cozy fall can feel without a bunch of ear-deafening equipment running in the background.

Airing on October 6, 1963, Barbra Streisand's appearance on The Judy Garland Show became one of TV’s most legendary moments. Streisand was just 21 at the time.

They sang some memorable duets together, but their stage banter was nearly as entertaining.
