I can't believe the Saturn is 30 years old! I think this weekend I'll be dusting off the steering wheel and playing Sega Rally Championship and Daytona USA 👌

Current status: Playing Death Stranding, I'm aiming to finish the main story before Christmas, I really love this game.

I'm currently working out what retro to console and game to play over the weekend... I'll share my decision tomorrow 🫡

I'm planning a family games night where we play a selection of Xmas games this year. This has given me the perfect reason to pick up Christmas NiGHTS into Dreams for the Saturn 😀 We loved the original so can't wait to play this.

What other family friendly retro games could I pick up?

Today's game is Populous New Beginning (98). I used to love this game as a kid and I've been itching to play it again recently, I'm not sure why 😂

An RTS game, you play the role as a shaman trying to become a god. It's good fun, I was in awe for the 3D graphics when it first came out.

I also bought Christmas Nights Into Dreams off eBay today and I'm so excited for it to arrive, never played it but love the original 😊🎄

I'm really enjoying the Tetris Forever documentary & game so far, it's really nicely done.

Playing the original version and the DOS version is pretty cool, amazing for their time really.

I really wish I still owned my Game Boy so I could play it in my bed tonight though, damn it!

Today's game is Cannon Fodder (1993), a Mega Drive port.

Originally released on the Amiga, this is honestly one of my favourite games of all time. I love the art style, gameplay & the variety of levels (skidoos anyone?) and who could forget the theme tune?! Classic.
