i find it so interesting that the experiences of carol and manousos with "humanity" as a whole are particularly antagonistic experiences. both of them seem to hate other people but see themselves as saviors. what is "humankind" - what is the kind of humankind that might be recreated (if it is)?

i can’t really think of any other shadow-self characters right now but akechi is my favorite & i think a lot about it 😭 p5 obviously gives attention to what he endured & how living the “horrible alternative” to joker’s comparatively better destiny affected him & informed his ideas of
i keep repeating it but i really am so excited for faith. i’m so interested in the shadow-self character, whose entire existence revolves around the protagonist’s hidden, repressed, “darker” parts. because once you’ve covered that, who’s left? once you’ve fulfilled (& re-fulfilled, & re-fulfilled)

at the end of the day this (angel/spike whenever he shows up) is all noise to me. faith lehane will show up and blow everyone out of the water she won’t even slack off in the problematic department
