The PM in Question Time says "we need to turn the temperature and rhetoric down" in regards to the Herzog visit. If only he had listened his own advice before granting the guy a visa to visit and who then turned the temperature and rhetoric up in a press conference on his first day in Australia!

Far be it for me to tell the Libs who to install as leader this week, but I would say that Jonathon Duniam is a better option than Angus Taylor hands down,and although from the right of the party, at least he is up front and open about the shamozzle they are in and seems like a decent bloke! #auspol

#auspol. That was such a "safe" conversation about the Herzog visit on #insiders. They bypassed the acute level of anger in the community about the visit and focused on the gov't having to just get through the next few days without incident. Gov't should be worried about all the voters they lose!!

I was never a fan of his Howard era policies, but I have to say that I miss Liberal politicians like Christopher Pyne (I'm a fixer, I fix things). His Press Club address just shows how you can be consistent with what you believe and argue for it with facts and humour. Take note Ley and Littleproud!!
