Republicans’ “Save America Act” doesn’t save us from anything. Instead, it will block millions of eligible Americans from registering to vote. Our democracy only works if every citizen has the ability to participate in the voting process.

Correctional officers show up every day under tough conditions. I’m proud to support bipartisan legislation to raise pay, reduce forced overtime, and improve safety at federal prisons in Illinois and across the country.
