Please keep your neighbors in mind and donate to food banks. We are on the verge of federal SNAP cuts and state funding is not reaching food banks because of the state budget impasse.

💖 Wear your coziest cardigan tomorrow and join me in celebrating kindness! Keep the legacy of Fred Rogers alive by lending a hand to a neighbor, volunteering your time, or just offering a smile. It all adds up to a more caring community. #WorldKindnessDay #CardiganDay

🧥 😊 Grateful to join the incredible Pittsburgh Fire Fighters for their annual Coats for Kids drive! This event helps kids across our region stay warm all winter long and it’s a wonderful reminder of what we can accomplish when neighbors come together.

While we wait for the GOP-controlled state Senate to get serious about state budget negotiations, my colleagues and I in the state House have continued doing our job of advancing legislation that improves the lives of Pennsylvanians.

Here are just a few of the bills the #PAHouse passed last week 👇

"The vast majority of the people who receive SNAP benefits are adults who work. And those who are not working are not working because they can't," Democratic state Rep. Emily Kinkead said.

I was honored to win a Legislative Champion award from the Pennsylvania Cannabis Coalition for my work with PA State Rep. Abby Major on H.B. 20!

Throughout my tenure as a state lawmaker, I have been a consistent advocate for legalizing adult-use recreational cannabis: pahouse.com/files/Docume...

🎃🚫🍭 No treats – just tricks for Pennsylvania taxpayers this year, thanks to PA Senate Republicans' failure to pass a budget. Senators Kim Ward and Joe Pittman have offered nothing but tricks this year.

🎃 My staff and I would like to wish everyone in our community a very Happy Halloween! We had a wonderful time connecting with all of you at Trunk-or-Treat events across the 20th Legislative District. My office’s costume theme this year was from the movie “Inside Out”.

Ghosts? Goblins? Zombies? You’ll have to try a lot harder to scare Pennsylvanians, who are living in the real nightmare of the PA Senate Republicans' state budget impasse. Senators Kim Ward and Joe Pittman are the authors of this Pennsylvania horror story 🧟 💰
