Pennsylvania’s failure to regulate kratom when it first appeared in convenience stores and other shops easily accessible to kids is a dereliction of duty. Without regulation, consumers don’t know what they’re putting in their body, unknowingly ingesting toxic additives or synthetic compounds.

Pennsylvania’s failure to regulate kratom when it first appeared in convenience stores and other shops easily accessible to kids is a dereliction of duty. Without regulation, consumers don’t know what they’re putting in their body, unknowingly ingesting toxic additives or synthetic compounds.
From now through January 15, Pennsylvanians can enroll in health coverage through Pennie, the state’s health insurance marketplace created through Obamacare (the Affordable Care Act).

As Hanukkah begins, I’m wishing peace, light, and comfort to all who are observing. In the aftermath of the antisemitic attack at a Hanukkah celebration in Australia, I would like to remind our Jewish communities that I stand in solidarity with them, both here in Pittsburgh and around the world.
