Our second-ever Repair Cafe was a success! We had 33 visitors with broken items. Thank you again to Liverpool Public Library and the Institute for Sustainability Engagement for your partnership. Most importantly: thank you to our 16 volunteers for devoting your time, skills, and energy this weekend.

Excited to share that our northern CNY neighbor, Organize Oswego, is hosting another Fix it Clinic this Saturday!

What is a Fix It Clinic? It's similar to a Repair Cafe, just named something different! It is still a free, community-based repair event of neighbors helping neighbors.

This #WITDay, we're celebrating Martine Postma, the activist and former journalist who started the Repair Café movement.

“More and more people don’t feel good about our throw-away society," Postma says. "[They] don’t throw away because they want to, but because they don’t know what else to do.” 🔗👇
