hi hi i'm ren. just an illustrator who likes to mix traditional and digital together to make silly little pictures. i like warm colors, vintage furniture, modern magic, and odd creatures

i've worked in fashion, tabletop games, and some publishing. you can see more at renattack.com
collage cut paper ink drawings with digital colors of two humanoid figures (a bird and a mushroom) with an umbrella and little water droplets jumping down. normal geese (or as normal as those angry lil birds can be) stand around their feet waiting for something, is it the bread the bird carries? or maybe they want to understand why they don't have a humanoid body too, why are they still geese? and why are they always just so angry? also the background is a floral pattern! titled summer - kid sitting under a tree with a book on their head sleeping in the sun while a little squirrel friend approaches the border is a mix of squirrels and strawberries and flowers and the colors are soft and warm, with greens, yellows, and reds me - figure sitting on a set of children's blocks spelling out REN there is a cat sitting with her and a pestering bird attacking (wren attack? maybe) on the ground are candles, books, sketchbooks, pens, paints, daffodils, dice, tarot cards, a kiwi bird, a computer, the painting the yellow scale by František Kupka, a steaming cup of tea, and music notes drifting back up toward the figure sitting on the blocks

I made it in! Now to figure out who else is here and how to find them.

for now, here is a photo of my sleeping #cat
cute little kitten sleeping on their lil back with their lil paws up in the air and a look of absolute contentment on their sleeping face (who knows if it's actually contentment, but I'd like to think so at least considering she is a cat with a lot of humans who adore her)
