I spent all of Monday in one panic attack or another. I really have to survive another four years of this? This is going to be a living nightmare.

Credit where credit is due. Shout out to Awesome Games Done Quick for basically keeping me sane this week while stressing out about the fires. I’ve been able to take my mind off of some of the nightmares images, thanks to watching the marathon.

Watching the devastating fires in and around Los Angeles have been terrifying. I’m in the next county over, waiting and wondering, hoping and praying.
If you are in an area that is being affected, listen to your local officials and follow to the letter. Your possessions can be replaced. You can’t.

I am officially stuck in a two hour virtual meeting (cameras off, thank the gods), going over a task that most of us either know, don’t want to know, or actively avoid, and it absolutely could have been a detailed email.

Don’t be me, seriously. I slammed my knee into our coffee table and now I can’t walk very well. It’s just swollen and painful, nothing broken or anything. I also have to go to the grocery store after work. That will be interesting.

It's 2024 and I'm finally watching Grey's Anatomy for the first time.
I've avoided it for a lot of reasons, mostly because watching reminded me too much of the hours I spent in the hospital with my dad while he was dying.
