I've noticed some clouds change shape only after the eye loses focus. When you catch it again, it has morphed into something else. And there are those that seem to float endlessly in the same relative position. If you remain attached to it, a story slowly unfolds before you.

There is a manner of living which views events as if through a window, or a thin layer of glass. This "window" dissociates the subject from the world around it, as to view events through a safe, translucent barrier. "Erecting walls" is rather uncommon; many choose to operate at a distance...
