Just Sustainability is not enough. That only means sustaining the damage we are doing. We need to stop the continuing damage and then totally rejuvenate the people, nature and ecosystems! We then replace Armageddon with a better life for generations to come.

Our Native American brothers and sisters came across the Alaskan ice bridge thousands of years ago and populated the Americas. They looked after this land and respected its animals and its ecosystems for thousands of years. As we seek to look after nature, our lands and coasts let’s learn from them.

I recently visited a demonstration near the city of Oakhurst, California, of an innovative tunnelling method by plasma heating that causes rock to fall off rather than the digging and grinding method. This can prepare tunnels much faster! This is the kind of innovation that America needs to lead!

This was in India a couple of years back while visiting a an apartment complex under construction. I just celebrated my 78th birthday with my kids, wife and grand kids in the east bay of San Francisco. Thank the lord that I’m in good health and still fighting for a better United States of America!

Went for a wonderful hike of the Berkeley Marina! From the east bay of San Francisco, we could see the Golden Gate Bridge and downtown SF. Beautiful nature walk with ground squirrels, clover and many species of water birds. It was getting near sunset so that added to the beauty!
