If we learned anything from past cycles, top signal is when Canadian pension funds pile on.

One way to look at an AI-centric future is that owning AI stocks is like UBI

Crypto is basically “streaming finance”. Just as Spotify or Netflix innovated a new distribution model for music and movies, which was dismissed, fought, and finally accepted by incumbents and gatekeepers, so is crypto via tokenization.

Gerrymandering finally getting national attention is a very good thing. One of the most warping, pernicious parts of our democratic system. Eliminating it would bring forward much more representative and fairer politics.

It is astounding to me that Alexa is still so bad. Seems like one of the biggest fumbles, having already trained users to speak to a device.

Another day, another take down article for crypto…. Double speaking doomsday headline aside, the Economist now seems to get it: Tokenization, starting with stablecoins moving to funds and now public and private equities, reveal the disruptive potential and usecases of crypto’s superpowers.
Crypto’s big bang will revolutionise finance
The more useful stablecoins and tokens prove to be, the greater the risk

Breaking News: The cryptocurrency industry reached a major milestone as Congress cleared legislation outlining the first federal rules for stablecoins, a popular form of digital currency.

The GENIUS and Clarity Acts just passed the House. It's a new dawn for stablecoins, crypto, and finance. This is also incredible news for eligible collateral, including tokenized RWAs like Superstate's $USTB

There are still more red tape and systemic issues to resolve but this is a very good leap forward by @governor.ca.gov

The Fourth of July is such a great holiday - while a celebration of independence, it’s really almost the only time >95% of America is on the same page. Flags, parades, burgers, ice cream, fire works.

Instead of fireworks, rapidly disassembling on-schedule, over the national mall this year, Elon Musk will launch a starship.

Crypto ETFs are very v1. Adding staking, baskets, weighted index, or defi yield will rapidly enhance yields (and risk). But these are still derivatives and wrappers, stripped of the superpowers of crypto.

Regardless of your options of letter theirs, this is an interesting interview that I think humanizes him.

I’m honestly shocked we haven’t seen a San Andreas fault sized schism between populists and privatizationists crack party politics yet.

Recent RWA, tokenization announcements and discussions of those are drilling into core issues, sometimes getting 🌶️, but very much pushing the whole industry to clearly understand what ABC is and isn’t, how it works, and what its limitations are. Great to see in realtime.

Have to say that some of this vintage of startups in AI are wildly more arrogant than prior years/cycles. Just total disregard for the customer and their problem/struggles, replaced by frustration and an indifferent yet bemused attitude that everyone should just able to solve the problem with AI.

I love how life imitates art, more specifically, sci-fi. Anyone who’s read Hyperion: ChatGPT, Perplexity, etc are our Comlog to the Datasphere. Ofc there is Snowcrash’s metaverse, StarTrek’s hand held devices and touch screens….

A lot of political debate is less about vision for the future but proving a negative - the opportunity cost incurred from having selected the other side.

A lot can be explained by our politics and culture when considering not just post-truth but its heir, post-shame. There are just no consequences to be wrong, no matter severity, frequency or outcome, invalidating or not.

I really dislike all the mid-branding on sporting events. Doritos this. Invisalign that. Accenture whatever.

This article makes some good points, which is why Superstate is working directly with issuers and tokenizing public stock directly on-chain via a US registered transfer agent - no wrapper, no 3P custody, no IOU.
