I use AI tools every day. Here's a use-case I didn't expect to be so tricky.

We want a new custom-built cabinet and are talking to a carpenter about it - this is what we gave him.

The amount of back-and-forward to just make sure all doors were in place with correct dimensions was long.

Nice end of the day in Las Palmas

In personal news that couldn’t really hit harder, my younger brother has been diagnosed with a terminal brain cancer… it’s truly fucked. So, he’s running his way through it and any support is very appreciated. runmelbourne26.grassrootz.com/curebraincan...

Travelling with Charlie isn’t easy, but he’s such a good little boy in pretty stressful situations. Think this might be flight 7? The coolest thing is when he arrives, he’s just the boss. He knows where he is, what he wants. In all seriousness, the thing he wants most is to be with us. it’s special

Using the Project Indigo app is a game changer. These are 100% iPhone 16 photos. The built in image stacking and post processing workflow to generate merged dng files is super powerful. Well done @adobe.com

Recently put my Sony WF-1000XM5 headphones in the wash… by accident. Replaced them with Apple AirPods Pro 3, and I gotta say the new AirPods are exceptionally good. Like so good. The Sony’s are fantastic earphones, but these new Apple buds are insane.

If only my ear wax was white…

🐍 Fun fact: Python wasn’t named after the snake.

When Guido van Rossum created the language in 1989, he chose the name after Monty Python’s Flying Circus. The snake vibes came later with the logo, Anaconda, PyPI etc.

So yes, you’re coding in honour of a British comedy show! 😉

Some Sunday stroll snaps through Vyšehrad, Prague. This is one place locals seem to know, but it's a tiny bit outta the way. Lovely spot, great views :)

Just got a new iPhone. I had the first few (as in, the 1st 2G one, 3G, 3Gs) have been on Android since. Gotta say, the onboarding with my Mac and iPad in the Apple ecosystem was INSANELY GOOD. iPhone 16 Pro. Feels much nicer in the hand compared to my Galaxy S23 Ultra.

What a delightful question! Yes, thank you for asking, I would like to use my default browser.

If only I could do this in other apps. Android should mandate this feature.

My mum had a fall on wet floor in a Coles supermarket where a worker was moving frozen goods and ice melted. No caution signs. Broken arm. She went back to follow up the next day. They said "are you the lady in the CCTV who was wearing thongs (flip-flops)". Wow.
That says A LOT. Heartless.

dev life. spend 12 hours refactoring an old feature, make it kick ass. old feature implementation was shameful. finally show it off. first comment? I think the email copy needs to change. Yeah, that copy was approved and used over 2000 times last year, but cool.
