As we commemorate Bloody Sunday, this photo from the subsequent Selma to Montgomery march has always stuck with me. Jim Letherer was from Michigan and lost a leg to childhood cancer. He made the 54-mile march on crutches. There's no excuse for not being an ally, folks. Photo by James H Kerales.
