5 years ago today, we were horrified by the violence at the Capitol unleashed by Trump. Remember the crazed rioters breeching the Capitol. The Confederate flags & the makeshift gallows. Officers beaten w flagpoles & crushed in doorways. Congresspeople hiding in terror. Chants of “Hang Mike Pence.”
