Discovered another bug tonight while streaming to YouTube. If I have my chat set to subscribers-only mode (to keep out trolls and morons), even my subscribers can't chat.
Starting to think they have no QA testing. They've just been like "eh, we'll test on the prod server".

That's the downside of streaming on YouTube. I literally have "no spoilers or backseating" as a pinned post, text across the screen, etc and still end up banning a dingus or two daily.
If a streamer politely asks for no backseating or spoilers, please don't then continue to do it. I understand excitement for someone getting to a part you like in the game but let them experience it for themselves.

Still waiting on any news from YouTube about a fix or update for dual streaming. It's made me wary of doing any vertical streams because regulars constantly bring up chat and viewership being low.
That said, shorts have been carrying the channel lately. We're slowly climbing to 5000 subscribers.

I feel like I disconnected from a lot of stuff after picking up this job and honestly it's helped my mental health a ton. I'm not fixating on something like not being in people's Twitch recaps.

It occured to me that if I become a Magic the Gathering Judge, I'd technically be a referee in that world too.

The goal is to reach 5,000 YouTube subscribers by the end of the year. It's going to be tougher with vertical live streams acting up but I think we got this.

I used to get excited when I'd get notifications on here and see all sorts of new followers but I'm pretty sure it's either bots or folks that only seem to interact when I post Native or Indigenous stuff. I don't really post too much sacrid wisdom here lol

My schedule is starting to get a bit more stable. Unless I have wrestling bookings or travel, it's looking like Sat, Sun, and Mon will be my stream days. If I reach a point where I've got enough ad revenue, channel memberships, etc I'll talk to the boss about making an additional stream day work.
