It's a breezy day on the Mendocino coast! While we’re pulling our jackets tight, Brown Pelicans are cruising the skies and gliding effortlessly over the ocean waves. With 7-ft wingspans and dynamic soaring, they ride the wind with barely a flap—covering huge distances with ease.

New favorite bird: Pacific Wren!

More often heard than seen, Pacific Wrens have one of the loudest and longest songs of all North American birds (check out this video... shorturl.at/MV9NI). They have to win the award for greatest song volume to body size ratio.
